Whats great about the snap circuit sc-300 is it has over 60 parts to create more than 300 projects. It includes motors, light, sounds and much more to keep them busy for hours. They have plent to get their creative juices flowing. he set comes with real circuit boards just like whats in radios, televisions and computers. They’ll be able to build electronic devices like a lamp socket, fan motor and speaker.
The projects are arranged by levels of difficulty, and each project teaches an objective such as “To show how electricity can only pass in one direction through an LED.” This is for kids 8 years and up. Younger engineers should be able to easily follow the diagrams for each project, but will probably require their parents to help explain how everything works.

In this day when so many toys are junk, Snap Circuits is a welcome exception. This is easier than the “labs” in which you must connect wires. These circuits have simple instructions and are easy to snap into place. There is much to be learned as well as much fun to have. Kids learn about LED’s, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, etc…… We liked the first kit we got so much that my son spent his own money on the big 750 project kit.
